Meet the parents session. Ahh...yes. The moment some parents would have been waiting for ever since forever. In some cases, like mine, this would be a drag to the couldnt-care-less parents. I mean, which parent would not want to care less especially after having to go through the same thing over and over again and yet have to go for another upcoming one for the third child.
The meet the parents session i would say is totally not applicable to my family. A nonesense full one with a couple of googoo gaga insane parents and four craphead children, my parents would just spout the not so complicated
"oh." as an answer to all that blabbering and comments made by the teachers. If not that, they would probably just pretend to look interested with those frowning eyebrowse when in actual fact, my mom would be thinking,"have izati(my sis) done the laundry?" and my dad would probably have this in his head, "oh yes...watch the tv and then go to bed"...haiz. I really think it would be just a waste of time for any of my loony parents to attend the whole event and bore themselves to death with the deafening long speeches given evry year to the different batches.
This year i think would be an exceptional one since mrs Tan wouldnt be there. This i hope
would not occur because if this were to happen, the speech which is going to be made by
_ _ _ _ _ _ would just be a natural lullaby and put the parents to drool mode. ( p.s; fill in the blanks)...muahaha. I'm so mean. Eyy....but its true ya. How uninspirational can one get with the stories of elephants and giraffes. VERY demoralising for a start of a day. Sad case for the andersonians who know what i'm talking about.
Anyway, the session is compulsory. So, i'll just have to send my parents my pity this thursday night and hope for them to survive the boredom and make it back home safe and sound.
back to laundry and tv. =D
