Late-night/early morning cravings. Munching on this.

Finally met up with my two belo partners Nar and Liy today, technically yesterday since it's already about 1am on Wednesday now. Decided to take advantage of the weekdays student rate for movie tickets at Cathay Cineleisure. 6 bucks for 2hrs worth of He's Just Not That Into You, was definitely money well spent =D. I give it 8.5 bites out of 10! Almost on par with Love Actually, but i still prefer Love Actually.

Managed to catch Valkyrie with mr bean last weekend as well. I was persuaded into watching it! Quite worth the money, since the visuals were exciting to watch, especially the costumes and war planes. There was a scene which featured a mosquito landing on a man's hand, and then getting intentionally burnt by the man himself using his red hot cigarette butt. I wonder how many mosquitos died for that scene. Lol. 6.95 out of 10.

So anyway, while waiting for Liy to finish work, Nar and I met up earlier to purchase the tix, have some long-time-no-see chat over lunch and do some light shopping. Bought myself a top from a shop that provided this rather adorable bag, customized with the name of the shop on it.

The bag resulted ina a sudden ultra belo moment which involved some slight retardation of our stale, crusty brains.

Me: The bag's cute, but if only the name of the shop wasn't there. What's that..like, underwear or smth *points to the name on the bag.
Nar: Ya...it's actually the name of the shop. Like what..Butt..On..
Me and Nar together: Butt On *thinking, what a name to choose for a shop!
probably 2 seconds later.
Me: Nar, Button.
Me and Nar: Laughing AT ourselves going all OMG-ish in disbelief at how stagnant our brains have become.

(OMG, i just realised there's a "Turn Your" caption on top of the Butt On, so it could possibly be Butt On and not Button, right?!)

Caught the 4.30pm movie after which we went on a hunt for Nariah's much needed white top. Got to know that Nar, Fatin and Ryan are going for the Jason Mraz concert as well! The more the merrier! I'm quite disappointed actually, at the fact that i'm going for Mraz's concert instead of Coldplay's. I've been a big fan of Coldplay, bigger than Mraz, since God knows, and here I am missing their summer tour. The fact that they're giving out their albums for free to those who attend their concert, in the name of gratitude for fans' undying support despite the economic crisis, only makes me feel worse. Then again, on a lighter note, Mraz's ticket was cheaper and who'd have expected coldplay to come right...so yeah.

So anyway, went to sit for a while at McCafe after that and left for home. I hate it when a day that went so well, ended off on a rather bad note. My Mom just had to call and be all sarcastic towards me. On top of that was an anal nyonya bus driver who at 9+pm, still demanded an extra 30cents for bus fare. Can't help being a noob at adult fares right! Rarr.

But all in all, had an awesome day that went by much too quickly =) Shall meet up again soon for tauhuey people!

3/4 more to go. Till I make another peanut-butter and strawberry sandwich, goodnight!
